DICHROIC
Dichroic is a conceptual exploration that reimagines the boundary between functional furniture and fine art, translating the abstract geometric theories of Wassily Kandinsky into three-dimensional form. By centering the collection on the unique materiality of plexiglass and light-reactive surfaces, the project treats each piece as a living installation; as natural light interacts with these transparent mediums, it creates a shifting chromatic spectrum that evolves based on the viewer’s perspective. This approach is deeply rooted in the legacy of the Italian "Art-Design" movement, which famously dissolved the walls between the gallery and the domestic environment. By prioritizing sculptural expression and visual narrative, Dichroic seeks to elevate everyday furniture into a curated sensory experience, transforming utilitarian objects into a cohesive Gesamtkunstwerk for the modern interior.
